Welcome to Boca Basketball, a premier recreational basketball league with over 33 years of experience, previously known as Lumberjack Basketball and West Boca Basketball. We proudly serve boys and girls from Kindergarten through 12th grade, offering a fun and competitive environment that fosters skill development and teamwork. Our league features two exciting seasons: spring and fall, with dedicated girls’ teams available at all age levels. For those looking for an extra challenge, our travel basketball teams, the Breakers, provide an opportunity for advanced competition. Boca Basketball attracts players from Delray Beach, Coconut Creek, Parkland, and Boynton Beach, making it a vibrant community hub for young athletes. Join us and experience the joy of basketball!

Recreational Basketball

Join us for our exciting basketball seasons: spring and fall. Registration for the fall season opens in April, while spring registration begins in October. We cater to both boys and girls, offering leagues for all age groups from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Operating in the greater Boca Raton area, including East and West Boca, we focus on creating a positive and supportive environment for young athletes. To promote success, we adapt our rules for younger players, and from 4th grade down, we utilize mandatory rotation sheets to ensure equal playing time for all.

Whether your child is a beginner or an advanced player, Boca Basketball welcomes all skill levels. Each participant receives a reversible jersey and shorts for the season. Our dedicated volunteer coaches are committed to fostering a love for the game.

Practices take place outdoors, while all games are held in a comfortable indoor basketball court. Come join us and experience the joy of basketball!

Our Story

Girls Basketball

Boca Basketball is a leading recreational league that offers a comprehensive girls’ basketball program for players from Kindergarten through high school. Teams typically consist of 8 to 10 players, and volunteer coaches focus on skill development during practices. Practices are held outdoors, while games take place indoors. The league is dedicated to single-gender play, only becoming co-ed when absolutely necessary, even at the Kindergarten level. For younger age groups, lineup sheets are used to ensure equal playing time.
